The National Monuments Service's description

Reported as one of “a group of four fulachta fia, close to a spring well” along with MA070-010001- to the NW, MA070-010002- to the NNE and MA070-010003- to the NE (SMR file). In a low-lying wet marshy area at the E foot of a steep ridge of poor pasture. A subcircular grassed-over stony mound (diams. 8m N-S; 5m E-W) increases in height along the W (0.2m) to a maximum height (0.5m) along the N.
