The National Monuments Service's description
In Burrishoole Dominican friary (MA067-014001-) incorporated into an altar recess at the S end of the E wall of the S chapel.
A 17th-century limestone chest tomb surmounted by a cut-stone round-headed arch is inserted into the 15th-century altar recess, partly blocking the double ogee-headed light. The edges of the coffin lid are sculpted with mouldings mirrored by similar mouldings along the base of tomb. A Latin inscription is carved in false relief along the front of the tomb just underneath the coffin lid: Orate pro anima Davidis oge Kelly qui me fieri fecit sibi et heredibus suis Anno Domini 1623 et ejus uxori Anabala Barrett. It translates as: Pray for the soul of David Kelly junior who had me made and his heirs AD 1623 and [for the soul] of his wife Anabla Barrett.’
