The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, close to the S boundary of the townland, located on a low E−W ridge in an area of mixed grassland and bog.
Circular area (diam. 31m) enclosed by a drystone wall. The wall (Wth c. 3m; int. H 0.9-1.2m; ext. H 1m at W, 1.25m at E) is roughly constructed of field stones and boulders. The internal wall face is relatively intact, but the exterior face has a collapsed in parts to a broad, slumped jumble of stones, with some additions of field clearance stones. There are low tumbled sections of wall at SSE and S, which now allow access to the interior, but no clearly defined entrance gap. At N a large recumbent boulder is set against the exterior wall face. The interior is flat; it was used as children’s burial ground (MA064-002002-), but no graves are now evident. Later field walls radiate from it at N, SE and SW. It is ringed with hazel and blackthorn, with blackthorn encroaching on the interior.
