The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on top of a ridge, close to the break of slope on the E side where there is a steep fall of ground, providing good views over the surrounding undulating grassland.
Not shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map; shown on the 1920 edition as an arc of hachures curving S–NE (chord L c. 30-35m NE–SW), possibly defining the NW half of an enclosure. There is no visible trace at ground level.
