The National Monuments Service's description
In the SE corner of a pasture field, located on an island of gently elevated ground surrounded by poorly drained or boggy land.
Shown on the 1837 OS 6-inch map as an oval embanked enclosure (max. dim. c. 20m), with a farmstead/cluster of vernacular buildings immediately to E. A very slight rise is evident in this part of the field, but otherwise there is no visible trace of the enclosure at ground level. The field is bordered on the S by an old E−W road/farm track, which may clip or overlie the S edge of the enclosure.
