The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on top of an E-W ridge, with extensive views, especially to S over a flat expanse of bog and pasture.
A slightly raised circular area (23m E-W; 20.6m N-S) is defined by an earthen scarp (H 1.45m at N; 1.55m at S). The scarp retains a slight internal lip on the E arc and a crop mark elsewhere, suggesting that it originally constituted a bank of width c. 3m.
The interior has a very slight slope down to N. Traces of cultivation ridges on a N-S axis traverse the interior, and there is a very shallow circular depression (diam. c. 4m) close to the scarp in the E half.
A field fence, on a NNW-SSE axis, is shown on the 1919 OS 6-inch map bisecting the interior, slightly E of centre. This has been removed, and a field fence now curves around the E side of the enclosure, incorporating the scarp which has been externally faced with stone.
The interior grassy, and there is a light growth of thorn bushes around the perimeter. Stones, probably field clearance, are piled against the scarp at W. An enclosure (MA062-064----) is located c. 75m to E on the same ridge top.
