The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on a low E–W ridge. A roughly circular, embanked enclosure (diam. 20-25m), possibly a rath, is shown on the1838 OS 6-inch map. There is no visible trace at ground level. According to local information, it was known as a ‘fort’, and consisted of a roughly circular, low platform without an enclosing wall or bank. Human burials (MA050-011001-) were exposed when a sandpit, now infilled, was dug nearby.
