The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on a low rise, in an area of undulating terrain. This rath is shown on the 1922 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 22-25m) with a souterrain (MA048-050002-), marked as ‘cave’, on the perimeter at SW. The rath has been levelled, and is now bisected, slightly N of centre, by an E–W property wall. To S of the wall, in a pasture field, remnants of a levelled scarp can still be discerned curving SE–W, and a surface opening reveals the souterrain (MA048-050002-). To N of the property wall, no trace of the rath is evident and the location is overlain by a modern house, driveway and garden. There is another rath (MA048-049----) c. 100m to SW.
