The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, straddling a low rise in undulating terrain. Ground falls away gradually towards a stream 125m to SW. There are good views, particularly extensive to W and SW.
Slightly raised circular area (25.5m N−S; 25.5m E−W) defined by a low stony scarp (Wth 2.5m at NNE, 1.8m at S; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 1.2m at NNE, 0.45m at S). The scarp has a very low stony internal rim –it may originally have been a wall or stone bank. There is a narrow break (Wth 1.4m) in the scarp at SE, and low, eroded sections at NE (Wth 3m) and E (Wth 1m).
The interior slopes down very gently to E. Roughly in the centre of the interior, there is a low irregular concentration of stones, of uncertain significance. The N part of this takes the form of a low, subrectangular spread (2.5m NE−SW; 3, NW−SE) of stones with a slightly raised perimeter rim. Abutting the SW side of this, and extending to SE from it, there are a number of irregular grass-covered stony rises. It is possible that these represent a ruined structure, but this is very uncertain; they may simply be dumps of field clearance stones.
