The National Monuments Service's description
Located adjacent to a modern farmstead. A mill is shown on the 1656-58 Down Survey Barony at roughly this location on the S bank of a tributary stream of the River Deel; on the 1838 OS 6-inch map an L-shaped building is indicated as a ‘Tuck & Corn Mill’. The mill building does not survive. According to local information, the traditional name for the area is ‘Baile an Muillin’, and ruins of the mill were still to be seen in the early part of the 20th century; it was said to have been used for milling oats. The millstream has been diverted from it original course. A millstone (Diam. 0.76m; T 0.07-0.1m) is located in the farmyard.
