The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located against a slight SE–facing slope, in gently undulating terrain bordered c. 150m to W by tracts of bog, now largely forested. There is a rath (MA038-070----) c. 50m to S, and another rath (MA038-068----) c. 130m to N.
This enclosure is not indicated on the 1838 and 1922 OS 6-inch maps. It consist of a semicircular platform (16m NE–SW; 8.5m NW–SW to field fence) defined NNE–SW by a stony scarp (H 0.7m), and on the straight side to NW by a field boundary on a NE–SW axis. The scarp, which is degraded and slumped, is edged and topped with stones. The remains may represent the SW half of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20-25m), the NW half of which, to N of the field fence, has been levelled. To NW of the fence, more or less in line with the scarp at W, a linear heap or rough bank (Wth c. 4m; H 1m) of earth and stones extends for 10m to NW, with a slight curve to N. It has a rough jumbled appearance, suggestive of field clearance, but may be remnants of a bank or wall that defined the NW half the enclosure. A slight rise in ground level is also evident to NW of the boundary fence.
