The National Monuments Service's description
In average pasture, in an area of gently undulating terrain bordered to W by tracts of bog.
Shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m), but not shown on later map editions. There is no visible trace at ground level. According to local information, a small circular rise (diam. c. 10-15m) at this location was levelled out during land reclamation works in the 1970’s or early 1980’s.
