The National Monuments Service's description
On Duvillaun More Island, located within a cashel (MA033A003001-). There is a cluster of ruined 19th century vernacular stone houses, with associated field plots and cultivation ridges, 30m to N.
According to the OS Letters (1838), the cashel was used as a children's burial ground. Use of the cashel for this purpose is most likely to have been contemporary with the 19th settlement on the island. There are the remains of a church (MA033A003004-), a cross slab (MA033A003002-) and a possible slab-lined burial (MA033A003003-) in the E half of the cashel interior, but no visible trace of graves associated with the children’s burial ground.
