The National Monuments Service's description

Located in the interior of a rath (MA031-050----), close to bank in the SW quadrant.
A surface opening (0.4m x 0.6m), bordered on one side by an in situ lintel, reveals a passage or chamber (H c. 0.9m) of drystone construction. A displaced lintel blocks access to the passage.
