The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, located on the S-facing slope of a ridge, overlooking Glenree or Owenmore River, which is c. 90m to S. Ground rises immediately to NE.
Roughly circular area (50.3m N-S; 54.2m E-W) defined by a scarp, which is incorporated into a field wall (Wth 0.8-1m) at N−SSW, and at SW−N by the curving undulation of a levelled scarp. At N-NE the enclosing wall (int. H 1.45m; ext. H 0.45m) is lower externally than internally due to rising external ground level; it is highest (int. H 0.55; ext. H 1.3m) to S, where it is constructed on a steep slope.
The N half of the interior is fairly level, but there is a marked slope from the centre to S, coinciding with the natural ridge slope. There is no trace at ground level of a souterrain (MA031-033----) located in the NW quadrant.
A field wall/property boundary bisected the interior to W of centre. Brambles, hazel and thorn bushes ring the perimeter.
