The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, located at the break of slope on the N edge of an E−W ridge. Ground falls away to N into a narrow glen.
Oval area (20.5m N-S; 27.9m E-W) enclosed by a drystone wall, incorporated into a later field walls. The enclosing wall (Wth 0.8m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.8-1m) is similar in construction to surrounding field walls; it is tumbled and largely sod-covered in parts. The wall expands to a width of 1.7m where it coincides with the natural break of slope to N. The interior, which has a slight rise in the centre, is not noticeably built up, but appears higher than exterior ground level due to the natural fall of ground. A number of large boulders are scattered through the interior, which is covered with fern and brambles, with blackthorn encroaching at SE. There is an enclosure (MA031-030----) c. 60m to SE.
