The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, located on the narrow top of a steep-sided N–S ridge, with extensive views in all direction. Located towards the N end of the ridge where there is a more gradual fall of ground.
Shown on the 1837 OS 6-inch map as a ringfort-like enclosure, and on the 1930 edition as a subcircular hachured enclosure (diam. c. 20m), incorporated into a later field boundary on the S side. This possible rath, has been levelled; there is no visible trace at ground level.
