The National Monuments Service's description
Located in the SW, and oldest part, of Moygawnagh graveyard (MA029-005002-), adjacent to gap or entrance in the NE wall of a rectangular grave enclosure. The stone is embedded in the ground surface, engulfed by overgrowth, and can not be fully examined. It consists of a roughly oblong stone block (L at least 1m; Wth c. 0.7m; H c. 0.3m). In the upper surface of the stone there is an oblong depression (L c. 0.56m; Wth 0.3m; D c. 0.2m) with quite vertical sides.
