The National Monuments Service's description

On a broad low mound/sand hill in the machair plain on NE part of Inishkea North.
Indicated on the 1921 OS 6-inch map amongst a settlement cluster (MA023-011001-) of enclosures and houses, named ‘Turrows’. There is an enclosure (MA023-011002-) 4m to E, another enclosure (MA023-011006-) 35m to E and a row of three conjoined houses (MA023-011007- to MA023-011009-) 30m to SE.
The house (5.9m WNW–ESE; c. 3.8m NNE–SSW) appears to be subrectangular with rounded corners or roughly oval in plan. It is evident as a slightly raised area defined by sod-covered wall footings (Wth 0.9-1m).
The wall is evident as a low, grassy bank from which stones protrude randomly. A short length of internal wall face is exposed at the E end of the S wall, revealing three to four drystone courses (H 0.45-0.5m). The external wall face is reduced to a grassy slump.
A break mid-way along the S wall may be an entrance. Directly opposite this, in the N wall there is a poorly defined slump.
The interior of the house has an uneven grass-covered surface.
