The National Monuments Service's description

This record refers to an early medieval church, called Domnach Mór (large/great church), which is mentioned in the Tripartite Life of St. Patrick. It is thought to have been in the Killala area (O’Flanagan 1927, 40-1 (17-20), 149-153 (80-1); Neary 1913-14, 23). The exact location of the church is unknown.
