The National Monuments Service's description

A circular ringfort-sized enclosure (diam. 25-30m) is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map, and on the 25-inch plan; it is not shown on the 1929 OS 6-inch edition. This enclosure, possibly a rath, has been destroyed. The location is now occupied by a commercial quarry.
