The National Monuments Service's description

Upright stone slab (H 1.05m; Wth 0.57m; T 0.25m at base, 0.16m at top) with long axis on a roughly N–S alignment. The stone narrows along its long axis from the base to the top. The stone stands on a low pedestal of sod encircled by a shallow wet depression, the result of farm stock using it as a scratching post. There is another standing stone (MA016-016----) located 300m to N.
