The National Monuments Service's description
In lowlying expanse of rough damp pasture. Low, roughly circular mound (10.7m N-S; 9.6m E-W; H 0.4m) situated on the SE side of a natural rise. It is composed of a dense concentration of small angular stones in a matrix of dark brown soil that contrasts with the orange-brown soil elsewhere in the field. There is a rath (MA015-015----) is c. 20m to E.
