The National Monuments Service's description

Enclosure excavated by Bernice Molloy, which is described as 'a segmented gully or ditch that bounded an area 15m in diameter' (McQuade; Molloy & Moriarty 2009, 150-3). Radiocarbon dates place it in the Iron Age (357-47 BC) and it is associated with a bowl furnace (LI060-010002-) .
