The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture in the NW corner of the former demesne of Massy Lodge, located 700m to SE and immediately S of the townland boundary with Baurnagurrahy. Tree-ring (LI057-065----) lies 220m to the SE. Annotated ‘Lissantrelick‘ on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map where it is shown as a roughly circular-shaped area within a woodland plantation. It is depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as sub-circular-shaped area (dims. c. 30m N-S; 27m E-W) enclosed by a bank reduced to a scarp, incorporated into a field boundary, with an external fosse from NE-E-S. Identified as a possible ringfort on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (Strip map 2, site 2/9) taken 03/11/1984. No surface remains visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages.
