The National Monuments Service's description
Westropp (1906-7, 196) recorded the following details about a castle in the townland of Ballyduff; 'The D.S.A., 50, shows an unnamed C[astle]. in this parish; but no C[astle]. is mentioned in Ballinlondry Manor as held by Sir W. Fenton (C.S., xxv., p. 7)'. Annotated 'Site of Castle' on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. No surface remains visible of levelled castle.
