The National Monuments Service's description
n upland pasture 250m W of the townland boundary with Ballynacourty and 250m W of a large forestry plantation. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. c. 19m) enclosed by a bank from SE-W-N-E with external fosse from NW-N-E that is incorporated into a field boundary from SE-S-NW. A gap in SE may be the original entrance. Outline of monument delimited by trees is visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
