The National Monuments Service's description
Church of Ireland church on site of medieval church of Kilflin. Westropp (1904-5, 427-8) recorded the following details about Kilflin Church; 'Keilfluing, 1410; Ecc Kyllin cum particula Sith Cathyll, 1418; Catan, alias killin, 1615, being mensal to the bishop; Cill Floinn, Flin's church (O'Donovan). Site - The modern I. C. church is on the ancient site'.
