The National Monuments Service's description

In upland pasture immediately W of a forestry plantation and 110m W of the townland boundary with Ballinlyna Lower. Enclosure (LI056-015002-) lies 200m to NE and standing stone (LI056-015001-) 190m to NE. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a circular-shaped area (diam. c. 18m) defined by a scarp. Faint cropmark of levelled earthwork visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
