The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on slight SSE-facing slope at S base of broad E-W running ridge, with good views from SE-SW. An enclosure (LI055-007001-) lies 100m to the NW. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised oval-shaped area defined by a scarp. Not shown on subsequent editions. Surveyed 1999 and described as no surface remains visible. Faint cropmark visible of levelled earthwork on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-2013. Faint trace of circular cropmark visible on Google Earth orthoimage date 4/4/2013.
