The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. Circular area (24.4m N-S; 24.8m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.25m) with external fosse (D 0.35m; Wth 1.55m) E->W, and defined by scarped edge (H 1m; Wth 2m) with field boundary running along its outer edge W->NE, and enclosed by fosse alone NE->E. Numerous gaps in bank due to cattle erosion. Enclosing element and N third of interior covered by overgrowth, otherwise interior level and under pasture.
