The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pasture, on slight NW-facing slope with excellent views from S-NNE. An enclosure (LI050-014---) lies 110m to the SE. Not marked on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map as a raised roughly circular-shaped area defined by a curving scarp from W-N-E and curving field boundaries from E-S-W. Levelled monument surveyed by the ASI in 1999, described as a slightly raised sub-circular shaped area (10m N-S; 12m E-W) defined by a scarp (Wth 6m; H 0.45m). No surface remains visible of levelled earthwork or field boundaries on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimages. Faint trace of levelled earthwork and relic field boundaries on Google Earth orthoimage dated 18/11/2018.
