In wet pasture, 140m W of townland boundary with Knockaunnacurraha. Possible barrow (LI049-238-) lies 40m to the NW and possible barrow (LI049-239-) 60m to E. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified as a possible barrow on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000; 2609, No. 373) taken 03/11/1984. Visible as a faint circular cropmark on Google Earth orthoimages where it is located immediately N of a farm track running NW-SE.
