The National Monuments Service's description
In wet pasture, 120m E of the Morningstar River that marks the townland boundary with Knockaunavlyman. Barrow (LI049-236001--) lies 30m to the NW and barrow (LI049-236002-) 12m to NW. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Possible barrow listed as ‘Newtown 6’ by Grogan (1989, 244). No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
