The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 45m E of a local road. Fulacht fia (LI049-196----) lies 135m to the SW. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified as an earthwork on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000; 2612, No. 228) taken 03/11/1984. Possible earthwork visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages. Could be the remains of a natural hollow depression rather then and the remains of an archaeological monuments.
