In wet pasture, immediately E of a stream that marks the townland boundary with Curraghturk. Possible barrow (LI049-195----) lies 140m to SE. Not depicted on historic OSi maps. Identified as a possible enclosure on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000; 2610, No. 133) taken 03/11/1984. Visible as a semi-circular cropmark immediately E of stream on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/03/2018 where it appears to form part of a drainage network. No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimage dated 21/06/2021.
