The National Monuments Service's description

In wet pasture immediately W of a conifer plantation and 150m S of the townland boundary with Griston East. Not depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. It is shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a circular-shaped area (diam. c. 35m) defined by a fosse from NW- N-E and a scarp from E-SW with an outer bank from NW-E-SW. Truncated at W by a field boundary running N-S and intersected at N by field boundary curving from NW-NE. The interior is divided in half by a linear bank running E-W. The partially overgrown monument, defined by a fosse, is visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
