The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, 80m S of townland boundary with Duntryleague and 110m W of townland boundary with Ballynatona. Excavated pits (LI049-120/122/123----) lie 180m to the NW and 260m to the SW, respectively. Not marked on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a curving scarp from NW-N-E, intersected at NW by post-1700 field boundary. Shown on the Cassini ed. OSi 6-inch map as a curving bank from NW-N-E. No surface remains visible of earthwork on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages. Modern farm buildings now located on site of earthwork.
