In pasture, immediately W of townland boundary with Spittle, an earthwork (LI049-118----) lies to the immediate W. Not marked on historic OSi 6 maps. Potential earthwork complex identified a number of linear banks and circular cropmarks on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000; Site 3/40) taken 03/11/1984. Monument visible as linear and circular cropmarks on OSi orthoimage taken between 2011-13. Cropmark clearly visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
