The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, immediately W Glenlary stream that runs N-S. An enclosure (LI049-098----) lies 140m to the W. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised circular-shaped area defined by a scarp. Shown as a circular shaped platform (dims. c. 16m NW-SE; 20m NE-SW) with a possible bailey (dims. c. 27m NW-SE; 40m NE-SW) to N on a cliff-edge location on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch. The bailey area is defined by a scarp from NW-N-E-S-SW, from SW-W-N by a watercourse running NE-SW and at NE and E by scarp of Glenlary ravine, enclosed by a bank in the SW. Tree-covered monument visible on th Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
