The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture, a barrow (LI049-224----) lies 95m to the SE and an enclosure (LI049-254----) lies 90m to the NE. Not marked on 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Depicted on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised rectangular-shaped area defined by a scarp with fosse. Monument visible as a roughly square-shaped cropmark (dims. c. 35m NW-SE; 37m NE-SW) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages. A relic watercourse running NW-SE truncates the monument at NW. Possible moated site (Barry 1981, 84, site 16).
See attached Google Earth orthoimages.
