The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, immediately E of townland boundary with Newtown. Field system associated with barrow (LI049-060002-) in NE quadrant. Not marked on OSi 6-inch maps. Possible medieval field system identified on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000; 2583, Site 3/29) taken 03/11/1984. Field system visible as an area (450m N-S; 250m E-W) with linear cropmarks running perpendicular to each other on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 20011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
