The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, 60m W of townland boundary with Duntryleague. A field system (LI049-048001-) lies 175m to the W with possible barrows (LI049-052/048004-) 40m to the S and 90m to the W respectively. Not marked on OSi 6-inch maps. Possible barrow identified as a circular cropmark on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000 2582, No. 218) taken 03/11/1984. Monument visible as a circular-shaped cropmark (diam. c. 7m) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
