The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, 30m E of townland boundary with Mitchelstown East. A group of monuments (LI049-033001/005-) lie 75m to the NE and a cremation pit (LI049-036----) lies 70m to the NE. Not marked on OSi 6-inch maps. Earthwork identified as a large rectangular-shaped cropmark on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000; 2580, Site 233) taken 03/11/1984. Monument visible as a rectangular-shaped cropmark (dims. c. 55m N-S x 100m E-W) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 20011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
