The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture, 255m W of townland boundary with Knocklary. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as a raised sub-circular shaped platform defined by a scarp. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as an oval-shaped area (diam. c. 16.5m) defined by a scarp with wide outer fosse. Outline of platform defined by wide rush-filled fosse visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
