The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture 155m S of the townland boundary with Mitchelstowndown North. Barrow (LI049-001044-) lies 75m to NW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Excavated by Gowen in 1986 (BGE Site 2/20/3) during works associated with Bord Gáis Éireann pipeline (Gowen 1988, 180). No surface remains visible on Google Earth orthoimages.
