In partially reclaimed pasture 45m S of a stream that marks the townland boundary with Fantstown. Ditch-barrow (LI048-097----) lies 5m to E, ditch-barrow (LI048-099----) 23m to S. Not depicted on OSi historic 6-inch maps. Identified as a barrow by archaeologist Christina O’Regan in 2010. Visible as a circular-shaped area (diam. c. 7m) defined by a fosse on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13. Monument is visible as a circular cropmark on Google Earth orthoimages taken 13/08/2021.
