The National Monuments Service's description
In poorly drained pasture 140m W of a stream that marks the townland boundary with Bosnetstown. Not depicted on OSi historic 6-inch maps. Identified as a possible enclosure on oblique aerial photograph (ASIAP) taken 05/10/2002. Monument is visible as an oval-shaped area (dims. c. 33m NE-SW; 24m NW-SE) defined by a waterlogged fosse (Wth c. 3m) on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 13/08/2021.
