The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture 110m W of Ballincurra Stream that marks the townland boundary with Stookeens. Earthwork (LI048-082----) lies 130m to N, earthwork (LI048-006----) 40m to SE . Not depicted on OSi historic 6-inch maps. Identified as an enclosure on oblique aerial photograph (ASIAP) taken on 05/01/2003. Visible as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. c. 15m) defined by a fosse on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13 and on Google Earth orthoimages where the surrounding area is comprised of a meandering dried-up watercourses and drainage ditches.
