The National Monuments Service's description
No surface remains visible of Rossard Church. Westropp (1904-5, 425) recorded the following details about Laurencetown or Rossard Church which was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary; 'Nova villa Laurentiston et Effyng, 1296 (Plea R.). 1655 (C. S., p. 21). Site - The trace of a church remains, and is marked on 1840 map'.
